A well done to Melanie James and Julie Foy for taking part in Kier Group’s charity dragon boat races. Team “Black Pearl” took to the water, complete with magnificent pirate mustaches, alongside 19 other teams to vie for the coveted top spot and help raise funds for the Kier Foundation, who this year are supporting wonderful charities such as The Alzheimer’s Society.
While they did not make it to the finals, everybody had a great time and helped to raise over £45,000! I think we can all agree that with so much money being raised for good causes, everybody wins in the end. It’s always great to get out, have fun and raise money for some truly deserving charities.
